Specialist, Service and Claims Management (Human Services)
Pay: Minimum $20.00 Maximum $23.00
Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Camp Hill, PA
What we’re looking for:
- 18 years of age
- A valid driver’s license
- Access to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or technical certification within a related area preferred
- 6 months to 2 years of related experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and interpret English
- Demonstrated understanding of information systems with a specific preference for experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HCSIS, PROMISe, and billing systems
- Preferred understanding of non-profit, human service program operations and billing requirements.
- Preferred knowledge of the overall operational procedures of the Office of Developmental Programs, Office of Long Term Living, and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Preferred knowledge specific to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or the aging population.
As a Specialist, Service and Claims Management, you’ll support UCP Central PA’s mission by ensuring accurate billing, authorizations, and revenue cycle processes. You’ll manage participant records, process claims, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with teams to support compliance and timely reimbursement, helping our programs deliver quality services to the individuals we serve.
What You'll Do:
- Provides administrative support for billing and the revenue cycle, including intake, claims, and collections to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintains accurate participant records and authorizations, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
- Applies correct coding, submits claims, and resolves denials through follow-up and rebilling.
- Monitors billing activity, aged invoices, and changes that may impact reimbursement.
- Ensures compliance with ODP, OLTL, and OVR requirements through audits and quality checks.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to gather information and resolve issues.
- Maintains confidentiality and supports staff training related to billing processes.
