Administrative Assistant
Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Camp Hill, PA
What We’re Looking For:
- 18 years of age
- A valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field preferred
- 6 months to 2 years of previous job-related experience required
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferred
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge related to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism preferred
- Preferred: Experience with Government Relations and Advocacy
- Preferred: Total Quality Management experience
- Preferred: Volunteer and Donor Relations experience
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll support UCP Central PA’s mission by providing reliable, organized, and timely administrative support across departments. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing data, coordinating communication, supporting projects, and helping maintain accurate records that support the individuals we serve.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide administrative support services in a consistent, dependable, and timely manner.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of UCP operations, including its heritage, culture, services, resources, information, events, programs, policies, procedures, and internal structure.
- Determine personal priorities for the upcoming week, month, and year; maintaining a planning calendar that supports projects, initiatives, and on-going activities.
- Provide general administrative services as assigned to support the operations and revenue cycle departments.
- Enter program documentation data from various source documents into a computer system.
- Monitor and manage all UCP contracts and files, apply contract specialist knowledge to simple negotiations and correspondence on behalf of UCP.
- Produce and maintain data reports and alert management of inconsistencies or issues.
- Perform database queries to assist with analysis and report issues when appropriate and necessary.
- Schedule, organize meetings and conference calls, ensuring that all details and logistics are thoroughly planned and solutions are implemented for any and all challenges.
- As necessary, serve as coordinator for some special projects and events, which may include planning and coordinating meetings, disseminating information, and coordinating direct mailings.
