What to Expect as a Occupational Therapist (OT):
Assess and support children’s development in fine motor skills, feeding, self-help, and sensory processing.
Create goals and activities based on the Evaluation Report, Individualized Family Service Plan, and family input.
Provide clear session notes and updates for quarterly and annual reviews.
Coach families and caregivers with hands-on strategies during community-based sessions.
Follow state and program regulations and collaborate with partners to ensure smooth service delivery.
