  • Position Status: Part-time, less than 20 hours each week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours flexible to meet referral needs
  • Location: Varies based on referrals

Responsibilities

What to Expect as a Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Assess and support children’s development in fine motor skills, feeding, self-help, and sensory processing.

  • Create goals and activities based on the Evaluation Report, Individualized Family Service Plan, and family input.

  • Provide clear session notes and updates for quarterly and annual reviews.

  • Coach families and caregivers with hands-on strategies during community-based sessions.

  • Follow state and program regulations and collaborate with partners to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as a Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Bachelor’s degree within a related discipline expected and 2 to 5 years of learning experience
  • Or Master’s degree within a related discipline and 0 to 2 years of learning experience
  • Board certification from NBCOT
  • Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment
  • Not on CMS Exclusion List
  • A valid driver’s license and 6 months of previous driving experience
  • Access to regular use of a vehicle with valid insurance coverage
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and interpret English

Preferred, but not required:

  • One year of prior experience with pediatrics
  • Experience working with children and families with needs in the areas of feeding, hand orthotics, assistive technology, adaptive seating/positioning equipment, and sensory processing
