When it comes to where you work, we know you’ve got choices…here’s what we provide:

  • Pay Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
  • Position Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Here’s what to expect as a Receptionist:

  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationship skills by greeting all visitors courteously and attempt to meet their needs.

  • Assist new hires with directions and alert staff members when visitors arrive.

  • Interact positively with callers to UCP. Direct callers to the appropriate office or personnel.

  • Assist with information, directions and other inquiries, or forwards the inquiry to the appropriate individual.

  • Prepare outgoing mail by applying the appropriate postage and sort as necessary.

  • Operate the postage machine, call for maintenance when necessary.

  • Order stamps when the postage machine requires a refill.

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate offices or individuals.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as a Receptionist:

 

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate expected. 

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 

• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand the English language.

• Basic computer skills. 

• 6 months to 2 years of previous job-related experience preferred.
