UCP Central PA is seeking individuals or families who want to make a meaningful contribution to someone's life by sharing their home. Lifesharing is a unique program that allows individuals (18 and older) with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to be part of your family.
As a Lifesharing provider you offer opportunities and support the individual to learn new skills, discover new hobbies, and explore the community. You are responsible for their day-to-day care, facilitation of medical appointments, and assisting with personal care which may include bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed. You are also responsible for preparing nutritious meals, assisting with feeding (if necessary), supervision, completion of required documentation, and adhering to state regulations.
As an independently contracted Lifesharing provider, you will need a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
