  • Pay Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
  • Position Status: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours flexible to meet referral needs 
  • Location: We're looking for someone to build a caseload in Cumberland-Perry, York-Adams, and Lebanon Counties. Must be willing to work in these Counties.

Responsibilities

What to Expect as a Speech and Language Pathologist:

 

  • Support the development of goals, strategies, and ways to track progress based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and the family’s goals.
  • Provide session notes and all required documentation for quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Offer guidance and practical strategies to families and caregivers to help their child reach IFSP goals during community-based therapy sessions. Encourage caregivers to actively participate.
  • Help coordinate speech therapy services by following regulations, supporting financial processes, and working with community partners.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements as a Speech and Language Pathologist:

  • Bachelor’s degree within a related discipline expected and 2 to 5 years of learning experience
  • Or Master’s degree within a related discipline and 0 to 2 years of learning experience
  • Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment 
  • Not on CMS Exclusion List
  • A valid driver’s license and 6 months of previous driving experience
  • Access to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and interpret English

Preferred, but not required:

  • Knowledge of feeding, AAC, medically complex children with tracheotomy/passy-muir valves, etc
