Many people go to work every day, wondering if they’re making a difference. Direct Support Professionals don’t wonder – they know they are.
Direct Support Professionals support people to realize their full potential and live with an “everyday lives” philosophy. The Coordinator in our Community Participation Support program is a senior DSP who has primary responsibility for planning activities and facilitating opportunities and experiences for program participants.
There is no special training required – and we pay you while you learn everything you need to know to succeed in your new career.
And unlike most jobs, DSP’s do something deeply rewarding while they earn a competitive wage and benefits.
Here’s what you’ll get as a DSP:
Community Participation Supports provide opportunities and support for community inclusion and building interest in and developing skills and potential for competitive integrated employment. Services result in active, valued participation in a broad range of integrated activities that build on the participant's interests, preferences, gifts, and strengths while reflecting his or her desired outcomes related to employment, community involvement and membership.
