    Responsibilities

    What you’ll do:

    • Oversee the development of the curriculum and content of Adult Day Services.
    • Maintain a caseload of up to 30 participants. 
    • Conduct, develop, and implement initial participant evaluations in coordination with county supports coordinator.
    • Complete quarterly reports and process by the 25th day of each month.
    • Ensure the development of appropriate plans and strategies for support services that are based upon participant behavior, activities, and environment.
    • Assist manager to track and evaluate on-going progress with performance goals.
    • Assist in supervising and developing Instructors and Direct Support Professionals.
    • Originate, implement, and monitor all initial Individual Program Plans and annual assessments.
    • Ensure that facilities and grounds meet required standards for cleanliness and safety.
    • Assist manager, to develop and sustain effective working relationships with all local and state agencies to ensure that the program is developed and conducted in accordance with all county, regional, and state policies, and standards.

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for –


    At a minimum, you’ll need:


    • Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university required, and 4 years of prior experience working directly with persons with disabilities; OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; and 2 years of prior work experience working directly with persons with disabilities.


    • A valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs within the last five years).


    • Access to regular use of a vehicle with valid insurance coverage.


    • Must be at least 18 years of age.

     

    • Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

     

    It’d be great if you also have:

     

    • Regulatory Compliance (ie. Chapter 51, 2380, 6400).

    • Knowledge specific to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or the aging population.


    • Multi-Site Management.


    • Developmental Planning and Goal Setting.


    • Total Quality Management.
